Indonesia launched the Indonesia Forestry Carbon Hub in July 2026 to strengthen forestry carbon governance and market integration.
The first phase covered about 225,000 hectares of verified pilot projects.
The initial projects were reported to have an estimated reduction potential of around 30 million tCO2e.
